French electronic musician Carpenter Brut will perform for the first time in Prague next year. He’s bringing his 80s synth sounds to Palac Akropolis on March 9th 2018. Tickets are available for 490 czk via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro.
Carpenter Brut draws his influences from 80’s TV shows and B-movies loaded with synthesizers and evokes an encounter between Justice beats and the universe of John Carpenter. The artist pays tribute to the post-hippie/pre-AIDS culture that then set the basis of electro and metal to give us a unique, violent and crazy 80‘s revival sound. Carpenter Brut specifies the idea behind his music: „I think a good song must tell something while being entertaining. But people should remember that song. That’s why I try to write simple structures, not unlike pop codes, keeping some groove so that songs can be entertaining and allow people to dance and have fun.“
