Australian singer-songwriter Stu Larsen and Japanese musician Natsuki Kurai are going on tour together to support their second EP. Larsen’s observations on life from his travels with Kurai’s swagger and energy will resound on October 29th at Vila Štvanice. Tickets for 295 czk will be available from Friday 18th (10 am) via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro.
Stu Larsen, singer-songwriter and self-described vagabond, is coming back to Prague. This time he is accompanied by the Japanese musician Natsuki Kurai, which Larsen met about nine years ago during his travels accross Japan. “I spoke no Japanese and Natsuki didn’t speak English so we found we had to communicate in other ways. We both agree that this allowed us to form a deeper connection, without words,” says Larsen. Since then, they’ve continued traveling back and forth from Australia to Japan, playing shows and festivals along the way. In 2013, they have released their first EP together, named simply Stu Larsen & Natsuki Kurai and this May, their second EP Stu Larsen & Natsuki Kurai II. has come out. We can look forward to some brand new songs as well as reinterpretations of tracks from Larsen’s previous albums.
