Andy Shauf started performing with his family in church. He was small 12 year old boy back than and permorming was scaring him more than anything else. But he learned how to play drums and started playing with small punk rock and emo bands. He continued practicing drumming until someone gave him Elliot Smith’s CD. Since than he was fascinated by singer song writers as Paul Simon or Randy Newman and started writing his own songs. He toured west Canada after graduating mainly supporting rock bands. Andy – silent shy boy – was expecting beating more than applaus which came after all his shows and sold most of his CDs. He wrote more than hundrer songs for his last album, but published only eleven of them.
